It’s been a hard-fought battle to maintain any kind of Vatican presence in Venice. The residents are firmly opposed to the Church’s rule, and so the Pope has been sending in steady reinforcements, more and more dangerous each time. Recruited from the south of France, some are true believers, and others merely fight for the coin they’re promised by one of the richest powers in Europe.
This box is an excellent expansion for a Vatican gang. With two Henchmen in the form of the cheap (if not super reliable) French Guard, it's easy to add them into your gang. The Avignon Guard is a tried and tested asset to the Vatican. They're big, well armoured, and extremely strong. However they're also heavy, so avoid the water!
Finally the Scorpio Marksman brings some devastating long-ranged firepower. The knight and altar boy work together as a cohesive unit, the young helper assisting with both carrying the bolts and as a handy stand to help aim the massive bow. A bolt from one of these will not only sail straight through a man, but the force of impact will push the target far backwards - excellent for repositioning your enemies.
Contains 4 resin miniatures and 4 plastic bases. Cobblestone bases pictured not included.
