Before the Resistance, there were the Remnant. There was the Centurion. One of the oldest ships still pressed into service, it saw combat alongside both the UCM and PHR. Remnants of the former human military strength, this unsurpassable Cruiser is almost all that remains.
The Centurion was one of the most common variants of Cruiser pre-Scourge invasion, seen all across the pre-war EAA Terran Grand Fleet. These heavy ships are classified as a Grand Cruiser, comparable in bulk to modern Heavy Cruisers. Like many other pre-invasion ships the Centurion was built in several different patterns, Trident Industrial over Olympus Prime building one variant and Equatorial Yards Inc. over Earth building a second, licenced variant.
The Remnant Centurion is a relic of the past, though its simple armament of projectile weapons means its performancce is more or less comprable to that still produced by Kalium today. This mainstay of the past can be seen in many resistance fleets as well.
